2026 Strength of Schedule
Vegas lines, and what they can tell us about which teams are the best, and which have the hardest paths ahead.
The NFL just released the 2026 NFL schedule, to much fanfare. We have known the opponents each team would face for months now, but now we know the when and where. Social media buzzes for a solid week about the biggest games each week, or how many prime-time games teams play, or how many teams are off in bye weeks. The Chargers finally get to their annual Super Bowl with their social media team putting out their schedule release video. We as a society need to respect that. They don’t have anything else.
Honestly, I know a lot of people mock the schedule release, especially with the leaked games for a week or two leading up to the official release. Personally, it makes a big difference for me to be able to see the games on a schedule rather than just the list of teams the Chiefs will play. I find it much easier to visualize the upcoming season.
With that in mind, here are the schedule graphics I use to get a mental picture of our schedule, and how it looks vs the rest of the NFL. First up, this is just the Chiefs’ schedule, with home/away games, times, etc. My very first app was this schedule graphic app, and you can download a graphic from it here, with the times in your timezone, whatever it is.
