On Thursday night, September 5th, at 7:20pm Arrowhead time, the reigning Super Bowl champions begin their Threepeat Campaign against the Baltimore Ravens, who fell to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. In less than a handful of days, we have real, honest to god football. What a time to be alive!!

The Chiefs have had a fun offseason. We drafted the fastest player in NFL history in the first round of the 2024 draft. Wide receiver Xavier Worthy fills a massive hole in our offense that we have been lacking since the Tyreek Hill trade. His speed and ability to track the ball will have a big impact on our offense. Not just in the deep balls, though I expect that to be better than the last couple years. It will also open up the intermediate and short game, where Kelce and Rice can thrive, as teams have to respect the deep ball in a way they haven’t recently.

We also brought in Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, another speedy WR who can take the top off a defense, but who also thrives in the short to intermediate areas of the field. A second round rookie left tackle in Kingsley Suamataia will make for an interesting offensive line. Our third round pick, Jaden Hicks, is a safety who has already made some waves in training camp and preseason. He’s behind a very solid group of guys already, but I fully expect to see him taking snaps every game.
