The Kansas City Chiefs caught a bit of a break when the Green Bay Packers were forced to rule out Aaron Rodgers in their Week 9 matchup. That meant Steve Spagnuolo got to go up against another first round quarterback in Jordan Love — albeit in his first start.

Spagnuolo pulled out all the stops, blitzing 50% of the game and completely disrupting the rhythm of the offense. As a result, the Chiefs allowed just 7 points on the day — thanks to a missed and a blocked field goal — and helped step up when the offense was struggling.

This week, as I do every week, I’ll take a look at the good, the bad, and something you may have missed from last week’s game — as well as some relevant numbers from charting the defense in arguably their best performance of the year.
