The Chiefs (5-4) and Denver Broncos (8-2) are set to clash in a Week 11 showdown for AFC West superiority.

A busy scoreboard comes to mind when a game features two of the NFL’s top offensive-minded coaches with the Chiefs’ Andy Reid and Broncos’ Sean Payton.

But there’s a looming battle within the battle between these two teams, and the outcome will likely be determined in the trenches.

Sunday’s top billing showcases the Chiefs’ offense line matching up against the Broncos’ relentless pass rush.

“That’s really a strength of theirs on the defensive side,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said. “They got good defense, but that d-line, it starts with them.

“It’s a nice challenge for our offensive line, and like I mentioned before, we’ve had this string of good d-lines that we’re going against. It gives you another opportunity to continue to grow as a group and look forward to that challenge.”

Tackle Jaylon Moore agreed.

“They’re a really good defensive front,” Moore told KC Sports Network. “They play really hard, they play good techniques, so it’s a good challenge for us.”
