Where does DeAndre Hopkins still win as a WR, where has he lost a step, and how do the Chiefs maximize his impact?

Over in the KCSN Discord - everyone should have received an invite to this Discord when initially signing up for the Substack, it would be in the “welcome e-mail” - I like to do weekly (or bi-weekly) Film Rooms. Rather than always cut up and write in out in text form some thoughts, these are simply watching the film and talking about what I’m seeing, explaining my thought process while watching it, and what I think it means.

Sometimes I try to do these Film Rooms live so we can talk back and fourth in the comment section but lately time has been a little tight so I’ve just been recording them then sharing.I post them in the KCSN Discord for all of the members to see and discuss as need be but with the big news of the Chiefs’ trading for DeAndre Hopkins this morning, I wanted to make sure everyone that subscribes has a chance to get eyes on it.

For this one, I just wanted to look and get a general idea of who DeAndre Hopkins is as player in 2024. Started with looking how he fairs against press and man coverage, looking to see how he wins and how he doesn’t. Then we look at zone coverage for the same things before rounding out the video with something Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs may need to do to maximize his impact.
