Five Big Plays from Unsung Heroes
If you’re a Chiefs fan reading this, congratulations on the uncharted territory we’re all experiencing together. No fan base has ever cheered for a team in the Super Bowl that is looking to threepeat.
There is an unbelievable level of calm to Chiefs’ fans relative to the past two Super Bowls. I relate. It’s hard to be too up or down the third straight time through the experience. The Chiefs have trailed by at least ten in every Super Bowl they’ve played in the Mahomes era. They’ve overcome adversity every game and found different ways to win.
All the hype and sizzle surrounding the game, how the opponent can win, the Chiefs’ weaknesses falls a little on deaf ears with this team being on the doorstep of cementing themselves as the greatest dynasty in the history of the sport.
