Tyler Brown Wrote: "...In his first two seasons in the league, he [Elijah Mitchell] averaged nearly five yards per carry...."

Mitchell accumulated 1,464yds on 330 carries, averaging nearly 4.44ypc during his first two seasons. That's respectable. Why exaggerate?

If rounding to the nearest whole yard we would more accurately say, "he averaged just over 4ypc."

Hey Steve, thanks for reading! I see you included the playoff statistics. According to his Pro Football Reference page, he rushed for 1,242 yards on 252 carries, good for 4.93 yards per carry throughout the regular season.

Got it. So what you intended to say is, "if we exclude some games (playoffs), he averaged nearly five yards per carry during his first two seasons."

I've got nothing against Mitchell. His signing is a good shot. Even during this rehab year, if he averages 4ypc with an above average explosive rate, he will make a reasonable 1B.
