Five Reasons for Optimism with the Chiefs

Coming off a tough loss, here are reasons to hope

Your yearly reminder that Chiefs fans know nothing less than an AFC Championship Game at home since Patrick Mahomes as the starter.

This is a beyond spoiled fanbase (not a negative!) that has seen a lot of wins, multiple Super Bowls, three Super Bowl appearances, two MVPs, and one Super Couple. Unfortunately for the 2023 Chiefs, fans have seen what a Super Bowl winner looks like, and this year’s team hasn’t looked like those teams and has dropped multiple losses that would be considered uncharacteristic with previous teams.

8-4 isn’t the end of the world, and the Chiefs have had four losses to this point in the season and still won a Super Bowl. But that hasn’t made this season easy to watch.

That said, there’s still plenty of reasons for the Chiefs to be in a good position for a run at another Super Bowl. Here are five things they have going for them.
