KCSN Draft Guide Preview: Damien Martinez

NFL teams are in the middle of their Top 30 visit season where they bring in select draft prospects and have them do an “in-house interview”. We currently know 22 of the 30 visits the Kansas City Chiefs' have brought in for these interviews. These can be done for various reasons from play on the field, injury concerns, or questions about a player off the field.

Typically, the Chiefs utilize their Top 30 visits on players with medical or off-field questions or for players who didn’t attend an All-Star Game that they had a heavy presence at. That is the case with the majority of the players on the Chiefs’ Top 30 list but one player who visited this week doesn’t fit into that category. Damien Martinez - a running back from Miami - was at the Senior Bowl where the Chiefs were and has no non-football related questions that need to be fleshed out. In theory, Martinez is a player who is being brough in for a Top 30 visit based entirely around his play and fit with the team.
