KCSN’s Premium Subscription Prices Are About to Go Up!
Just take a quick look at what’s included for $40 per year (400+ newsletters, and …)
Before we ask for your money (just being honest!) and explain why it’d make sense for people who LOVE in-depth breakdowns, film study and analysis, along with informed perspectives of the Chiefs, to upgrade to the “paid” option here at KC Sports Network, I do want to thank you for subscribing to our free newsletter.
Support is support, and value is value.
We’ll still send out free content to keep you up-to-date during the season, but the in-depth stuff that you can’t find anywhere else - the truly valuable stuff in our opinion that takes time for those who like to stay informed at a certain level - will be for paid subscribers only. Many of our giveaways and events will be for subscribers-only as well.
The yearly subscription price will rise from $40 per year (right now), to $50 per year on September 1. We’ve already posted nearly 100 newsletters after launching in May, and we’ll only ramp up from here as the regular season is right around the corner.
This early subscription covers the regular season, postseason, Super Bowl parade (!!!), NFL Draft, OTAs, and all the way back to training camp so we can do it all over again. It’s $40 to be the most-informed and educated Chiefs’ fan possible!
From the start - we believed in our ability to develop and cultivate an audience of Chiefs fans who have grown to appreciate the kind of content we’ve created over the years.
Before spending six years as the Chiefs’ Reporter (2014-20), I had spent seven years covering the team for Bleacher Report and Arrowhead Pride - writing blogs, breaking down film, and telling stories. That all led me to watching Super Bowl LIV from the sideline and celebrating like a lifelong member of Chiefs Kingdom should when winning a Super Bowl, including talking to Travis Kelce after the game.
All of that experience taught me a number of things, one of which is that if you create consistently great content that gives people something they like and remember (stat, story, strategy), they’ll support you. And don’t be a dick, that always helps!
We knew that if only a small percentage of the audience that was consuming our content consistently over the last decade would be willing to pay 10 cents per newsletter for content we’re creating now, that we’d have the opportunity to create something truly unique, flexible, and special. And we’d be doing it with friends.
The more we put in, the more we get out. It’s that simple.
Again, this is a new idea and a new venture, but the people involved and the content we’re creating are worth the $40 investment you’d be making for quality written content that’s easy for everyone to follow.
I’ll send this email out on September 2 and strongly believe $50 is still a phenomenal value, but I want to save you $10 because I’m a nice guy.
