Deep into the fourth quarter with the Chiefs leading by 3 and needing only a first down to win the game, on 3rd and 9, Patrick Mahomes threw a deep pass 32 yards downfield to Marquez Valdez-Scantling. MVS caught the ball while falling down, and Chiefs fans across the world erupted in cheers and screams.
What an incredible redemption story this whole playoffs has been for MVS. He is supposed to be our deep threat, but he had 3 total catches over 30 yards during the regular season. He has 3 catches for 30+ yards already in the playoffs.
