Wednesday marked the end of an era in Kansas City. Chiefs free agent WR Mecole Hardman signed with the New York Jets on a one-year deal worth up to $6.5 million. The former 2019 NFL draft pick was the last remaining member of the Chiefs’ “Legion of Zoom” receiver corps featuring Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, Demarcus Robinson and Byron Pringle.
Hardman leaves a two-time Super Bowl champion after four seasons in Kansas City, recording 151 receptions for 2,088 yards and 16 touchdowns during that span.
