The "Only Weird Games" gang is gonna have a field day with this one...

This was not a fun game to watch. I did not come away from this win with warm fuzzies about my favorite NFL team’s prospects for the rest of the season. They absolutely had to win this game to stay in the playoff race, and they did. Somehow. It was a massive struggle from the first drive to the last drive in regulation, but the good guys pulled it out in the end.

KCSN literally has a podcast named “Only Weird Games”. They are going to have an absolute blast talking about how weird this game was. Patrick Mahomes threw an interception to a defensive lineman on his very first pass of the game, from his own 7-yard line. Kareem Hunt fumbled the ball inside the red zone. The Chiefs ran 41 more offensive plays than the Colts (91 to 50). The time of possession was 42:35 for the Chiefs compared to just 25:28 for the Colts. That’s a huge difference.
