That was fun. That was so much fun. The Chiefs just beat the socks off one of the top NFC teams. The Lions came into this game with the second-highest odds to win the Super Bowl, and left with a player suspended for punching JuJu Smith-Schuster in the face. The offense looked amazing. The defense looked good enough to compete with anyone.

Andy Reid beat Dan Campbell at his own game, going 2-for-3 on fourth down conversions, compared to the Lions’ 0-for-2. One of those fourth-down conversions was a fourth and three at the Lions’ 6-yard line. Mahomes threw it to Worthy for the first touchdown of the game. It would not be the last.

All three of the Chiefs’ losses have been by a single score. Against the Chargers, the Chiefs lost by six. Against both the Eagles and the Jaguars, they lost by three. All of those games were very close.

They have won all their games by multiple scores. They beat the Giants by 13 points. They beat the Ravens by 17 points. They beat the Lions by 13.
