Jillian meets with first Women’s Sports Bar Owners
In Jillian Carroll-Letrinko’s second episode of Sports & Shenanigans she was joined by the new owners of The Dub. The Dub will be the first bar in Kansas City dedicated to prioritizing women’s sports. Owners Monica and Rachel have been lifelong sports fans and aim to provide a place you can count on to have women’s games available for you to watch with the sound on, while enjoying a local brew and an inclusive space. The duo was inspired by the Sports Bra, the first of its kind in Portland and are now one of a handful of women’s sports bars across the nation.

Seasoned veteran Herbie Teope has joined our team here at Kansas City Network as our Lead Reporter. Herbie is formerly from the Kansas City Star and the NFL Network, amongst other publications. Teope is also an Army veteran and Kansas State Alumnus.
