The Kansas City Chiefs play every day of the week this season sans Tuesday. Thursday, Sunday and Monday have been checked off of the list, but they still have yet a Friday, Saturday and Wednesday to go. This is part of the schedule that has the makings of getting weird and putting the Chiefs in some compromising positions, and it all starts this Black Friday against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Chiefs will suit up for this game on five days’ rest, but luckily, it is coming against the Raiders, who are currently riding a seven-game losing streak. The last time Vegas came into Arrowhead, they pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the 2023 season, which the Chiefs went on to use as a wake-up call, sparking a six-game win streak and a Super Bowl Title.

Last year, the Raiders were fighting for Antonio Pierce to get hired as their full-time head coach, but this year is a different story. While surely trying to motivate his team through the media, Pierce deemed his squad the worst in the NFL and the Chiefs the best. One of Kansas City’s longest rivals is down bad right now, and the betting lines showcase that. Despite the Chiefs only playing close games and being 4-6-1 against the spread this season, the back-to-back champs are 13-point favorites. Here are three keys to Kansas City covering that spread.
