It’s the middle of June. Mandatory minicamp just ended, and there’s nothing for 5 weeks until training camp begins on July 21st. We’re in the doldrums, people. The dead part of the offseason. This is the part of the offseason I’ve been dreading ever since BJ Kissel brought me on board.

With nothing current going on to direct my writing, I thought I’d start a series of articles about the places I go to get the numbers and data for my articles. Some of this is going to be familiar to you, I’m sure, but hopefully, I can bring some awareness to some sources of information that are also new to you all. I’m not going to cover the big sites, as I assume most of you are familiar with them already (sites like PFF, Pro Football Reference, OverTheCap, etc.)

First up is a site that’s run by Ben Baldwin, rbsdm.com. This website is a fantastic portal into a whole world of NFL data you can’t generally find easily anywhere else. Many of you know that the majority of my own graphics and tables use nflverse.com data. This website does as well, and makes it very easy to generate useful tables and graphics out of that data.

I'm a nerd. Coding Chiefs and NFL tables and graphics is my idea of a good time. @josephjefe on Twitter. DM's are open.
