Miller, 22, is from Ballwin, Missouri and is in the midst of his rookie season with Sporting, making four appearances thus far. He was selected eighth overall in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft.
KC native, new Washburn head coach, sits down with ‘Verbal Commitment’
Kevin Flaherty and Ryan Wallace break down the latest recruiting updates for KU, K-State and Missouri, discuss the state of Ian Premer's recruitment and highlight player profiles. Then the guys are joined by Washburn Football head coach Zach Watkins discussing becoming the head man in Topeka and recruiting.
Watkins knows the recruiting trail and landscape of the Kansas City area as a Truman Patriots grad out of Independence, Missouri. Washburn is Watkins’ Alma Mater, which he played for from 2006-2009. Prior to being named head coach for this coming season, he spent time as an assistant for Northwest Missouri State and Fort Hays before coordinating the defense and coaching the Ichabods’ defensive backs for the past 11 seasons.
