The 3-nil loss to Minnesota United FC (16-10-7) marks the fifth straight loss for Sporting Kansas City (7-6-20). Kansas City plays the Houston Dynamo FC (9-9-15) in its final match of the 2025 season.

A Michelle Cooper goal in the 59th minute was all Kansas City Current (19-2-2) needed to defeat Angel City FC (6-6-11). With 59 points on the season, the next closest team in the conference, the Washington Spirit, trails the Current by 16 points with three matches remaining.
