The Kansas City Chiefs traded Trent McDuffie this offseason and allowed Jaylen Watson to leave in free agency, setting them up with massive holes at their starting cornerback spots. They addressed the position by trading up in the NFL Draft to select Mansoor Delane, but a single rookie is hardly going to be enough to make up for the players they lost. Enter second-year cornerback Nohl Williams.
Williams played sparingly in 2025 but did nothing short of flashing in just about every opportunity he got. It seems like a fair bet that the Chiefs were banking on Williams not only being able to continue his level of play with an expanded sample size but also developing in his second season. He had a strong Training Camp for the Chiefs and looks like he’s all but locked up a starting corner role for the team.
