Watch the KU-MU rivalry revived with us and ESPN's Matt Miller: This week in KCSN
Good afternoon, KC sports fans!
Today, we will recap our latest content, which covers the Chiefs, Royals, local schools, KC Soccer, and more.
Feel free to drop a comment at the bottom of this page to let us know what you think of our local sports coverage, or go ahead and participate in our weekly Chiefs poll. We can’t thank you enough for supporting us.
Starting this weekend, college football is back, and to celebrate, we want you to join us at Holladay Distillery for week two. The more, the merrier, so feel free to bring a friend or two (or three).
We are also thrilled to have a special guest: ESPN NFL Draft Analyst Matt Miller. He is a personal friend of the network, and as you know, is great at what he does, which is breaking down future NFL prospects. This is your opportunity to watch alongside someone who truly knows the game inside and out.
On top of that, we’ll have Taos 4 Life serving up food while Holladay Distillery keeps the drinks coming (your first one is on us).
The main item on the agenda will be the first Kansas-Mizzou matchup since 2011. That is not something you will want to miss.
If all of that is not enough, the rest of the slate of games is absolutely stacked.
Iowa vs Iowa St.
Oklahoma St. vs Oregon
Michigan vs. Oklahoma
Come hang, talk football, eat, drink and enjoy an incredible day of college football with us.
The watch party begins September 6th at 1 p.m. CDT. There are limited spots, so do not miss out. Sign up here.

PODCASTS
Only Weird Games: Joshua Brisco, Seth Keysor and ESPN’s Nate Taylor began the week labeling the Chiefs’ biggest need: help along the defensive line. Later on in the week, they discussed the idea that Jaylon Moore, the Chiefs’ current swing tackle, may need to be in the discussion at left guard as one of the five best offensive linemen on the team.
KC Laboratory: Matt Lane and Kent Swanson broke down the good, the bad and the ugly (mostly bad and ugly) play in the Chiefs’ second preseason game against the Chicago Bears. With Craig Stout alongside them on Wednesday evening, they talked about possible running backs the Chiefs could make a trade for.
That Football Show: On their end-of-week show, Matt Verderame and Tucker Franklin asked themselves if it is time to worry about Kingsley Suamataia at left guard. In their second episode, they took a deep dive into what it means now that 2023 first-rounder Felix Anudike-Uzomah is gone for the season.
